Station 1 Headquarters

Station 1 was built by the volunteer fire fighters and most of the materials were donated. Initially the bay area was completed which housed the trucks and had a small office in the back of the bay. A few years later the firefighters added the meeting room with an office, kitchen, radio room and two restrooms. This facility has become the Headquarters for the department. Our training materials, business office and breathing air compressor are located in this facility. In 2004, we have plans to add sleeping quarters in the rear of the structure for the on-call personnel. The station is located at 101 Ford Hill Lane, in Seymour, Tennessee, Sevier County. Station One is currently home to the following equipment:

  • Engine 512 Custom 2000 gallon 1500 gpm class A engine
  • Engine 505 Commercial Freightliner 1000 Gallon 1500 gpm class A engine
  • Squad 503 Custom Sutphen 400 gallon 1500 gpm class A Rescue/Pumper
  • Support 509 Chevy Suburban EMS equipped First Responder Vehicle
  • Car 501 Ford Explored Chief Officer Vehicle
